Larry and Addie Garman are global missionaries with the Church of the Nazarene in Peru.
They were appointed to Peru in 1964, and have served in that country since their original appointment.
Larry was born in Springfield, Ohio. He received the B.A. degree from Point Lamo Narzarene University in San Diego, California, and his D.C. degree from the Los Angeles Chiropractic College. He has studied at Biola School of Missionary Medicine, in La Mirada, California, in the areas of tropical medicine and dispensary. he also has training in dentistry.
Addie also attended Point Loma Nazarene University. Addie has taught the Old Testamant, music, Christian education, bookkeeping, and drama. She has started women's ministries in several areas and pastored two local churches. She is heavily involved in caring for work and witness teams.
The Garmans arrived in Peru after a year of language study in Mexico. Their responsibilities have included clinical work, as well as the development of the Aguaruna Indian's work in the formation of the Bible School and the Amazon District.
The Garmans have four grown children: Guy, Gregory, Candace and Timothy.
